We took notice from Kati & Jens from boomer cause of their Scotland-travelogue in the “Motorrad Abenteuer” magazine.They start their motorbike-world tour in January 2010 and who knows, maybe we met them somewhere on our tour! We met Gregor from the Abenduro-Team at our offroad-tour in the Susa valley. He told us some very interesting stories and gave us a few good tips for Mongolia, because he had been there in 2007 with his motorbike. Anja & Holger are on an motobike wourldtrip since 3 years now. They are a very nice couple and gave as a few good tips for our journey! Thank you! We met this comfy and nice group on a motorbike meeting, unfortunately we had to little time… Our friend Mr. Max Mambo and his band, the Hellabama Honky Tonks, which play the finest rock´n roll. So a very nice contact had established! www.dodomandala.de The „Alpenrocker“ from Passau are a motley troop of motorbikers who had been on several very interesting journeys together.In March we will visit their slideshow “From East go Back Tour 2010” where they will report about their motorbike tour once trough Eastern Europe till Mongolia. We are very curious! :-) The Krad-Vagabunden Panny and Simon are on a world trip with their two Hondas since May 2010. The couple from England is on the way to Australia with bicycles. They are “on the road” now since one year and they are planning to arrive in Australia in one year. He is also alone on tour with his 4 x 4. His planned route is crossing whole Eastern Europe and then go South trough China and South East Asia to Australia. We are in contact with him via Facebook and we hope, that we´ll meet each other again somewhere in South East Asia or in Australia. In any case, we would be very happy about meeting him again! We met Benjy, a very nice guy from England, at Oasis in Ulan Bator. He is on the way from England trough Eastern Europe and America with his 4 x 4. We spend a couple of nice evenings together with him in the Oasis and who knows, maybe we meet him again in America or in some other place in the world. We wish him a lot of fun and a great trip! The two Italian guys Andros & Federico we met in Oasis, too. They made the whole southern route from Italy to Mongolia with their bikes. We spend a couple of very nice evenings together with them in our Geer before they returned to Italy by plane. On their blog you even can see a short video about us, because we met them somewhere on the road in Mongolia! See you, guy´s! A very special experiance we had with Donato from Italy. He started is trip in Italy one year ago, made the whole southern route, visited India and South East Asia and now he is on the way back home to Italy. The married couple is on the way through South and East Europe together with their Boxer male dog in a jeep. We spend a couple of nice evenings together in the Oasis guesthouse! Somewhere in Mongolia we met Ivo from Switzerland. He is on the way from Switzerland trough Eastern Europe and finally to Nepal with his BMW 1150 GS Adventure. Because he makes his trip alone we´ll keep our fingers crossed that everything will work as planned on his further way! www.zebrablog.net www.livetheworld.it Gianni & Gisella, an Italian couple who is on tour with one 1200er Moto Guzzi Stelvio, we met in the Oasis guesthouse, too. Unfortunatelly they had a very tight schedule for their trip from Italia to Mongolia and back, so that they only spend one night in the Oasis guesthouse. Per, Torgrim and Peter from Sweden and Norway arrived at the Oasis guesthouse with their motorbikes as we started on our way back to Russia. The three flew from their Nordic homeland to South Korea and then further to Japan and Russia from where they drive their motorbikes overland back to the far north. www.twoadv.com We met Rudi from Ingolstadt, who travelled through Eastern Europe with his KTM 990 Adventure, in Vladivostok by a funny change. We spent a couple of great days together with him and with our Russian “tour guide” Igor in Vladivostok and we hope, that our “father Rudi” meanwhile arrived well in Moscow from where he´ll drive back to Germany. Thanks to Sybille and her team from the Oasis guesthouse in Ulan Bataar for the pleasant and relaxing time we had there. After our Mongolia-adventure that was urgently needed! We spend several nice evenings together, drinking some beer and talking about our experiences “on the road”. Maybe we will meet them again, somewhere “on the road” in South East Asia. We would be happy about that! We still haven´t met Sascha & Kerstin from Germany personally. The two started their motorbike world trip just before a few days now. After their first goal New Zealand they will fly to South East Asia where we hopefully will meet them somewhere “on the road”!
