In the late 1970s, the albanian dictator Enver Hoxha had about 600 000 bunker complexes built for fear of attacks. The relicts from these time can be seen especially overall along the coastline.

Vlore, a big coastal town in Albania. Not a bit as what germans imagine as an summerlike vacation resort, but nevertheless very interesting...

Magnificent view down to the little island Sveti Stefan at the montenegrian adriatic coastline.Montenegro is a dreamlike country with wonderful nature & nice and helpful people. But it´s a pity, that there are a lot of unregulated garbage dumps...

The albanien Logara pass had been an absolute highlight of our tour and it was, as you can see, good for some surprises!

"Small“ road damages are a part of the daily agenda in Albania.

Here a little hint for all Albanian-travellers: you must face with loose sheeps, goats, asses, cows, horses, pigs, dogs and chickens at any time and they all love to cross the roads after blind bends! :-)

Bea tried to lure the cow with an sleeping pad and a folding camp chair... unfortunately, the cow had already been full by the garbage lying around... ;-)
