Time to Ride

On the following pages we´ll list all the things, we´ll take with us on our world trip.During our journey, we´ll report here about our experiences with our equipment. Which things had stood the test of time, which are absolutely unnecessary, which we gave away or sent back home and what pieces of equipment we even added afterwards.

- 2 x German armed forces cutlery (solid, robust and a can openeris included) (Rangershop)- Net - laundry bag for wet or dirty clothes and a clothesline (Rangershop)- Inflatable pillow from Kaikkialla (a little larger pack size, in return it´s very comfortable) (Globetrotter)- Nordisk micro table (extremely compact and light) (Globetrotter)- Aluminium camping cookware (old stock)- Primus Omnifuel stove (compact, light and is burning almost everything) (Primus)- Mini-axe from Fiskars (very small and but still functional) (Relags)- Mini-folding spade from Gerber including a hammer (extremely compact and solid) (Relags)- Solar camping lantern from Priums (small, light and is working both with solar and batteries by an average burning time of up to 180 hours!) As you make your bed, you must lie on it... because this sentence tells at least a little bit the truth and we will not only sleep 14 days in our new “mobile home” but at least two or more years, we decided us for sufficient comfort regarding to the choice of our tent, the sleeping bags, sleeping mats and pillows - unfortunately a little bit at the expense of the package volume.

- Leatherman multi-tool (Charge) with numerous, high-quality, unbreakable functions such as scissors, saw, file, pliers, knives, etc. In addition, a wide range of bit is included, making the tool for true all-rounder.
