Beaback I am organizing everthing, that goes over the finances to get all the visas and everything else what has to do with planning and organazing is on my part.... I was born and raised in Burghausen - for all the ones that love cultur - this is the town with the longest castle in Europe. On this part: Thanks Fritz for all the passions and effort that you gave me, even so Iam sure I am faulty for some grey hairs on your head. :-) After I passed my driving test I couldn´t drive for a few years - out of lack of money. Shorthanded (but with shaking knees) I jumped on his converted Transalp and started after 8 years of motorcysle abstinince - on my first short tour.We didn`t drive far around our area, but it was enough to want an own motorcycle. Said, done, a few days later I good through a all known auction platform my own 1991 Honda Transalp. Once was clear, when I should drive than it must be a tour motorcycle, since from the first day - short trips wheren`t enough for me. :-) Unfortunatly it was already fall and we couldn´t make anymore bigger tours. But in 2010 we caught up. More than 10000 km asphalt and gravel are behind me and my Transalp, and I hope there are many more 10000km will follow. 2007 I made my bachelor as a enviromental engeneer and came back after 5 years in Mittelfranken, to my hometown Burghausen. Oberbayern even is the best place in the world. :-)But 2008 when I met Helle, may future touring partner again, I remember that I had a motorcycle driving liscense as well and it was about time to put it to use.For starting I was happy as a „backseat“ driver on Helles motorcycle. But since a kawasaki ZX10R is not very comfortable - I always felt like a turtle on Helles back :-) - I needed an alternative fast! Bea Bea My first contact with wheels (2 of them) was with 18, when I (to my driving instructiors sorrow) - without ever sitting on amotorcycle before - enrolled for a motor scooters liscences.
